Refund policy

Topbrands2go Global Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 2026

At Topbrands2go, we operate a high-precision supply chain to ensure the quality of every SKU. To protect the integrity of our inventory and ensure consumer safety, we have implemented the following Return Policy.

1. The 30-Day Guarantee & EU Cooling-Off Period

  • EU/NL Statutory Right: In accordance with EU law, customers within the European Union have a 14-day mandatory cooling-off period to initiate a return without justification.

  • The Topbrands2go Extended Guarantee: As a commitment to our quality, we extend this window to 30 days globally. You must initiate your return request within 30 days of the recorded delivery date.

2. Eligibility Criteria Strictly Enforced

To maintain hygiene and safety standards, returns are only accepted if the following conditions are met:

  • Unopened & Factory Sealed: The product must remain in its original, unopened, and undamaged manufacturer packaging.

  • Resalable Condition: All tags, security seals, and protective wrappings must be intact.

  • Verification: Any item that shows signs of use, tampering, or damage to the external seal will be rejected by our inspection team and held for customer collection or disposed of, with no refund issued.

3. Non-Returnable Exceptions Safety & Hygiene

Due to the nature of our catalog, and in accordance with Article 16(e) of the EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Health & Personal Care: Items with a broken hygiene seal: vitamins, supplements, skincare, baby care, and cosmetics.

  • Perishables: Goods with a specific expiration date or temperature-sensitive requirements.

  • Hazardous Materials: Flammable liquids or gases.

  • Sale Items: Items marked as "Final Sale" or purchased with a gift card.

4. Return Authorization & "RMA" Process

We utilize a logic-based return system. You must receive authorization before shipping:

  1. Request: Email sales@topbrands2go.nl or use our Self-Service Return Portal to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number.

  2. Documentation: The RMA number must be clearly marked on the exterior of the return packaging. Packages received without a valid RMA will not be processed.

5. Strategic Return Address

To ensure the highest level of quality control, all returns are processed at our high-tech secondary facility. Do not send returns to our headquarters in Apeldoorn.

6. Logistics & Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and customs duties for international returns.

  • Risk of Loss: We strongly recommend using a Track & Trace service with insurance. Topbrands2go is not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit.

  • Errors: If the return is due to a documented error by Topbrands2go (wrong item shipped), we will provide a pre-paid return label.

7. Inspection and Refund Timeline

Upon arrival at our Global Distribution & Inspection Center, your return will undergo a technical audit:

  • Audit Period: Please allow 5 business days for inspection.

  • Approval: Once approved, your refund will be triggered automatically to your original payment method.

  • Bank Processing: While we issue refunds within 10 business days, your financial institution may take an additional 3–5 days to post the credit to your account.

8. International Orders (USA, Canada, Australia, etc.)

For orders outside the EU, the customer is responsible for ensuring the return is cleared through Dutch customs. Any "Bill to Receiver" duties or taxes incurred at the border will be deducted from the final refund amount.
